Founded in 2004 by the University of Massachusetts Medical School, MedMetrics Health Partners is one of the nation’s first and foremost non-profit pharmacy benefits management (PBM) organizations. MedMetrics’ primary compensation model involves only a per-member per-month (PMPM) administrative fee, without the undisclosed payments or other hidden arrangements that have traditionally masked revenues to PBMs, increased net drug costs, and raised so many concerns with publicly-held PBMs. Our non-profit business model fully aligns our incentives with our clients’ incentives, creating more open, informed, and collaborative working relationships and a greater ability to achieve mutually beneficial goals and objectives in pharmacy benefits management: lower plan costs and higher performance.
