A MAC Program with Integrity

MedMetrics Health Partners maintains one highly aggressive MAC list for its clients. No spread is retained, and all savings are passed on directly to clients. Our MAC list is one of the broadest in the industry with more than 1,300 line items currently represented. We openly share our MAC list with clients and even post it on the Web so network pharmacies have regular access to the current MAC pricing on all products.

We update our MAC list quarterly, with mid-quarter changes routinely taking place when significant pricing changes arise or when new generics enter the market from multiple generic manufacturers.

We also commit to a more expeditious and aggressive updating of our MAC list when the generic exclusivity period expires on key products. This helps to avoid any substantial lost savings opportunity that may result from delays in MAC list updating — a problem frequently encountered by larger, more bureaucratic PBMs.
